We run two seminar series, associated with our research departments:
- Organismal Biology and Biological and Experimental Psychology Seminar Series
- Chemistry and Biochemistry and Cell and Molecular Biology Seminar Series
These run during term-time throughout the academic year. Distinguished speakers are invited to present on their cutting-edge, original research, as well as offering a general introduction and highlight main challenges in their field of expertise.
We also run special events throughout the year.
In addition to the two main seminar series we host a number of smaller discussion groups.
All our students are welcome to attend research seminars, and second and final year students are strongly encouraged to do so as seminars often have direct relevance to the modules within our degree programmes.
