Bioinformatics resources
The School has a fully equipped computer laboratory with dedicated Apple Workstations linked to a powerful Xserve and XRAID server system. The system is pre-loaded with a comprehensive collection of DNA and protein analysis software, and includes current DNA and protein database releases for sequence searches. The computer lab is open to all post-graduates and teaching staff who wish to carry out complex analyses and to support our bioinformatics MSc course.
