Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) Facility

This facility is dedicated to ultrastructure analysis of biological samples by Transmission Electron Microscopy.

This service includes technical support for biological specimen preparation and use of JEM-1230 Electron Microscope.

Specimen preparations currently available are:

  • Ultrastructure analisys
  • Immunogold labeling
  • Negative staining for a range of different samples
  • Freeze-Fracture replication technique
  • Training in sample preparation and imaging is available
