English language requirements
All tuition and examinations in the School are in English. Good English is essential for success in a course of study and for research. If your first language is not English you must be able to provide evidence that you have an acceptable English language qualification.

English language and study skills at QMUL
The College offers a range of presessional and insessional courses for students who have not quite reached the required standard of English Language ability, or for those wishing to improve their English Language and Study Skills.

Accommodation
Queen Mary is the only college of the University of London to offer a fully integrated campus in central London , so you can live, study and socialise all in one place
When you accept your place to study at Queen Mary the Admissions Office will send you information on how to apply for Queen Mary residences.
There is no specific deadline for the return of accommodation applications. However, places are offered on a "first come first served" basis, so the earlier you apply the better your chances will be of securing a place.
