How to apply

UK/EU students should apply through the online system of the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). International students may also apply through UCAS, but are generally recommended to apply directly to Queen Mary (see www.sefp.qmul.ac.uk). When submitting an application via UCAS you should select the appropriate "course code" to indicate the type of degree course onto which you wish to progress, after completing the foundation year. These codes are given below. You should aim to complete your application by the normal UCAS closing date, typically 30 June, but if there are still places remaining on the SEFP, then you can also apply through the Clearing scheme in July and August.

UCAS Course Codes (for students wishing to progress from the SEFP to SBCS degree programmes)

FFX1 : for progression onto BSc degree programmes in chemistry (F100, F1C7, F1N2)

FFY1 : for progression onto MSci degree programmes in chemistry (F152, F153)

CCX1 : for progression onto BSc programmes in biomedical sciences (B990), psychology (C800) and all other fields of the biological sciences (all other C-codes)

The Queen Mary code is Q50.
